Farming activity for 2009-2010 season September 3, 2009

After a continued effort by the team managing the farming division at TM Real Estate Group, it has been signed for this season an agreement with a Company settled in Murcia that will challenge initial cultivation of 70 hectares of land situated in the municipalities of Almoradi and Los Montesinos (Alicante).

Our first action in this way is going to be the plantation of broccoli. This will be sold exclusively to the UK market. They are going to be a total of 3,780,000 plants, producing around 1,500,000 kg. The planting will complete the second week of March 2010 and begin harvesting in November, ending in April-May 2010.

For the upcoming spring-summer season is expected planting watermelon.

This area of business is part of the Strategic Plan for Diversification of TM Real Estate Group, which aims to continue to place ourselves into new markets and products.
